Don't have my camera!

My husband took the digital camera to work today and didn't bring it back tonight! So tonight I thought I would share a couple of pictures from the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Regional meeting that I got to attend last month. There a few hundred other SU demonstators and their guests there. The pictures are of the the other demonstrators in my upline's downline and guests. We have a monthly demonstrator meeting that we share idea's and try out new techniques together. I would love to share with you the great advanatages of being an SU demonstrator.

I wish I could attach some pictures of some of the make and takes we created while we were there. As part of our registration we received a stamp set! We also were able to view (and take pictures) of hundreds of other demonstrator's cards and projects. This picture is one of the cute samples that were on display. I love the monochromatic color scheme that was used.

Hopefully tomorrow night I will be able to share some pictures of my latest stamping creations with you. Be sure to sign up for the automatic email notification so you won't miss an addition to my blog!! Also please let me know if you want to join my emailing list. I recently started sending out a newsletter with SU's specials, my personal specials and upcoming stamping events that I am having!

My Demo Swap For October

I thought I would share my swap card that I made for my demonstrator meeting for October. I wish I had taken a picture of the first attempt.... it was pretty plain and didn't have any pop to it like this one. I had just stamped the center leaf with Really Rust (after stamping off once to soften the image).

This time I used Really Rust Craft Ink and then embossed over it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. Hopefully you can see the shimmery affect from the picture.
I used a new stamp set Autumn Fest, to make this card. I really like the bold leaf images in this set. The base is Mellow Moss with Chocolate Chip and Confetti White layered on top with a strip of Really Rust card stock under the central image. I used Mellow Moss Classic ink to stamp the leaf patterns on the base. I also used the new Photo Corners punch to embellish the corner. I also used the Uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen to draw the dashed lines on the corner punch. The verse is from Curvy Verses. It is one of my favorite word sets.

It's been a while :(

I'm back and rededicated to posting on my blog more consistantly each week!

I don't have a lot to share this week. But a picture of one of the Christmas cards I came up with for a stamp-a-stack I had last weekend with some other demonstrators. It went really well. I really like the Frosty card. I think I got some inspiration for the card from another stamper on Splitcoaststamper.com. Sorry I can't give the exact link and creator for full credit.
I used my new favorite colors of Wild Wasabi and Soft Sky cardstock for the base of the card. Then Real Red and Whisper White for Frosty. I used the faux stitching techinque to add another 3-demensional border. After piercing the line with the paper piercer, I used the uni-ball white gel pen to create the "stitched" line. I used stampin dimensionals under Frosty and then finished with Wild Wasabi Double Stitched Ribbon.
I think everyone at the SAS had a great time. Contact me if you would like more information about joining my next SAS event or would like to join by contact list for specials and scheduled events.
Until next week - have a great weekend and stamp a card on Saturday in honor of World Card Making Day (October 6, 2007)!
